Welcome to Oak Ridge Resort & Spa.

Your hosts Michael & Kimberly Lengenfelder moved from North Pole, Alaska, with our four children, Trey(16), Chelsea(14), Jillian(5) and Annaliese(2), and purchased Oakridge Resort in July of 2006. 

Kimberly , a 30 year resident of Alaska wanted longer summers and warmer winters. Michael, an 18 year resident of Alaska wanted good fishing. For eight months we searched the internet nightly as to where we would like to relocate our family and then  we discovered the Mountain Home area.

It is truly beautiful here and the people are extremely friendly. Our favorites of the area is that there are no mosquitoes, summer nights generally cool down 20 or more degrees providing you with an enjoyable opportunity to run, walk or bike in the mornings.  Bull Shoals lake is not crowded with extremely clean and clear water. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The many deer and birds that visit us each day. 

For the angler, water skier or scuba diver, we are only minutes by boat from Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock, which is a full service marina including a dive shop and guided fishing trips.

We want to give our guests the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and tranquility we have experienced here. There is so much to see and do in this area.

For those who want total peace and quiet, September through March is the ideal time (and the fishing is better in the cooler months). We offer reduced weekly rates and monthly rates during the off-season. October is especially beautiful with the changing of the foliage.  Branson is a scenic two hour drive and is a great place to visit during December when the crowds are minimal and Silver Dollar City is decorated with over three million lights.
